Abstract

The result of the development of information technology now widely used as a strategy in running the world of commerce, is the emergence of an onlinebusiness or what is often referred to as e-Business. Online businessis a business that is run online using the internet network, while the information to be conveyed or sold usually uses the media of websites, social networks and buying and selling forums. bMarketplace is one of the largest e-commercesites in Indonesia. Marketplace has metamorphosed into a strong company not only in Indonesia, but also in Southeast Asia. Marketplace is a break through site for entrepreneurs and producers who have financial constraints about opening stores and expanding their marketreach. The Yogya Kraton batik trading business includes micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The Covid-19 pandemic has also resulted in a drastic decline in batik trade, because market demand and sales have fallen and people's purchasing power has decreased. To deal with the decline in people's purchasing power, KratonYogya batik tries to run an online business, in this case through Marketplace. So far, the transaction process between Batik KratonYogya and Marketplace and consumers have not encountered significant obstacles or obstacles that have a negative impact on the trade of Batik KratonYogya with Marketplace. However, trading through this online business has not reached the desired target because the number of orders is still relatively minimal. In addition, we don’t necessarily get new orderd through Marketplace.
