KUALITAS AIR TANAH DAERAH GUNUNG KASIH DAN SEKITARNYA KECAMATAN PUGUNG KABUPATEN TANGGAMUS PROVINSI LAMPUNG

Abstract

Groundwater is a natural resource needed by humans, animals and plants. With the many uses of water, it is very necessary for good quality water for health and free from substances that can harm living things. This research was conducted by geological mapping and taking groundwater quality data using a Water Quality Tester and Portable Refractometer in the study area. Some of the data used are color, taste, odor, acid content (pH), salinity, Total Dissolved Solid (TDS), Electric Conductivity (EC) and temperature (°C). The purpose of this study was to determine the physical and chemical properties and evaluate the groundwater that is suitable for consumption at the research site. Water samples were taken at fourteen research points. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the types of stones in the research area are Tuff, Skiss, Gneis and Marble. In the study area, the average water has the characteristics of clear, tasteless, odorless, has a pH ranging from 5-7, 0% salinity, a TDS value of 94-542 ppm, EC 188-1066 s/cm, and a temperature of 27-24 29°C. The results showed that the groundwater quality of each data collection point was different from one sample to another based on tests with physical and chemical parameters carried out. Areas with the best groundwater quality are areas with sample codes 22/DP/02, 22/DP/05, 22/DP/06 and 22/DP/08 in the Gunung Kasih area and its surroundings.
