Peningkatan Daya Saing Lulusan SMAN 1 Banyumas dalam Memasuki Jenjang Pendidikan Tinggi melalui Pelatihan Tes Potensi Skolastik

Abstrak
Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini merupakan salah satu realisasi kerjasama antara Jurusan Statistika IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta dengan SMAN 1 Banyumas Jawa Tengah. Sebagian besar peserta didik Kelas XII di SMAN 1 Banyumas ingin melanjutkan studi di perguruan tinggi negeri melalui Seleksi Masuk Berbasis Prestasi (SMBP) dan Seleksi Masuk Berbasis Test (SNBT). Mengingat kuota SNBP sangat terbatas, siswa harus mengikuti SNBT yang tingkat keketatannya tinggi. Karena itu siswa perlu diberi pembekalan tentang hal-hal terkait dengan pemilihan program studi di perguruan tinggi, kuota yang tersedia, serta jenis tes yang digunakan dalam seleksi masuk. Salah satu materi seleksi yang belum terlalu dikenal oleh siswa adalah tes potensi skolastik. Dalam kegiatan ini siswa diberikan sosialisasi tentang materi tes potensi skolastik, contoh-contoh soal tes, tips and tricks dalam mengerjakan soal, serta kiat-kiat lainnya agar dapat memperoleh hasil yang optimal. Melalui evaluasi nilai pre-test dan post-test dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan nilai test potensi skolastik secara signifikan.

Abstract
This community service activity is one of the realizations of the collaboration between the Department of Statistics IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta and SMAN 1 Banyumas, Central Java. Most of the Class XII students at SMAN 1 Banyumas wish to continue their studies at public universities through the Achievement-Based Entrance Selection (SMBP) and Test-Based Entrance Selection (SNBT). Given the very limited SNBP quota, students must take part in the SNBT which has a very high level of stringency. Therefore, it is necessary to provide training on several matters related to the selection of study programs in Higher Educations, the available quotas, and the types of tests used in the admission selection. One of the selection materials that students are still not very familiar with is the scholastic aptitude test. In this activity students are given socialization about scholastic aptitude test material, examples of test questions, tips and tricks in working on questions, as well as other tips in order to obtain optimal results. Through the evaluation of the pre-test and post-test results, it can be seen that this activity succeeded in significantly increasing the value of the scholastic aptitude test.
