Abstract

SDN 3 Muara Lakitan as a place to study at the school already has a WLAN (wireless local area network) or in common language it is called wi-fi (wireless fidelity) which is a technology for connecting computer devices without using cable transmission media. However, the school has not yet implemented the IoT system in its school environment, therefore in this study it will discuss the Internet Of Thing Network Simulation at SDN 3 Muara Lakitan by utilizing the Cisco packet tracer application to create an Internet Of Thing simulation at SDN 3 Muara Lakitan needed by the school the. The methods used in this study include data collection methods (library, observation, interviews, and documentation) and network development methods using the PPDIOO method (prepare, plan, design, implement, operate, and optimize). The final result in this study is the build of an IoT simulation at SDN 3 Muara Lakitan using blackbox testing in testing which gives good results for all conditions without errors found in the test scenario.
