Abstract

Pelangi Beach is the habitat of Lekang turtles in the Kretek area, Parangtriris, Bantul,
Yogyakarta Special Region. Preservation activities and introduction to Lekang Turtles are
carried out with educational tour packages. The basic problem is the existence of Pelangi
Beach which is not widely known by the public. The service team was assigned to help
promote Pelangi Beach through the Pelangi Beach destination branding program. Methods
of problem-solving are carried out by qualitative methods (interviews, surveys, and
observations), design, and workshops to introduce the design results. The results of the
program in the form of Pelangi Beach's visual identity in the form of a turtle mascot, sign
system, Lekang Turtle infographics, storybooks, brochures, and an Android-based turtle
game. The design have been applied at Pelangi Beach and the design master is submitted to
the manager as a form of positive contribution
